In America, the Art Nouveau
style lasted from about 1895 until 1913. Fortunately for the glass artists
of the time, major innovations in glass manufacturing occured just prior
to this period, yielding an exciting array of new colors and textures. Extraordinary
pieces do turn up occasionally, but aren't on the market for long.
