Art Nouveau beveled windows
were never commonplace in America, having made a brief appearance roughly
from 1895 to 1913. The quality of these windows is typically quite fine.
While Victorian designs of the day utilized a very
narrow and predictable palette of design elements, Art Nouveau drew design
inspiration from all of nature. This departure from predictability raised
many an eyebrow.
