Description: This lovely window features a female swan, or "pen" with her young cygnets. Swan themes are prominent subjects in Celtic folk lore. This richly colored Chicago-made window is a fine example of high-quality mid-Victorian glass work. The original St. Jarlath's displayed some of the finest period church windows in the Chicago area.
