Description: This window is made almost entirely of Venetian glass (a.k.a. Muff glass), which is my favorite type of glass. It is painstakingly mouth blown in small quantities. Venetian glass has a watery, translucent appearance which varies somewhat throughout a given sheet, giving it added character.

The blue jewels in the center of the flowers are hand faceted. This window is actually shown here in its original setting—a huge pocket sliding door. The door is available to the buyer for the price listed. The door still retains its cast bronze Victorian hardware and high-quality rolling wheels, which roll like a dream after 125 years! The glass panels can easily be taken out of the door to be used as a window. We will arrange to remove it if requested.
